Luxemburgish born & raised, of italian decent, Marino Berardi has caught everyone’s attention with a hand of worldwide celebrated tracks and remixes licensed on prestigious american labels such as Subliminal, Wave, Moody and Ovum.
In Europe Marino has released his productions principally on his belgian home inprint Wally’s Groove World the dutch label Freshfruit.
Alongside his long-time partner Louis Botella, Marino’s science of sound has built a solid series of twelve’s tributing most of his influences including Detroit techno, American and European house, hip hop, dub, funk and disco.
Two of his most acclaimed tracks, Expression in E dub (licensed by François K for Wave) and Plan B are reminiscent of the golden age of house of the beginning of the nineties getting him magic props from Darren Emmerson, Mr. C or Colin Mc Bean.
His first and brilliant remix of Arsenals A Volta on Wha? Recordings, a Brazilian epic of twelve minutes acclaimed by Peter Kruder, Rainer Trüby, Jazzanova and the Kyotto Jazz Massive between many others.
As a DJ, Marino has received major welcome in all the clubs he visited in Belgium, France, Spain, Germany and England.
His style is best described as energetic and progressive tech house. His mixing skills are very precise and assure him to be a party DJ in every sense offering every time an unforgettable night of cutting-edge beat.
Since 2005 Marino is cohost of Clubzone on Radio Ara.
